VisioNet boosts cloud business

JAKARTA (IndoTelko) – PT Multipolar Technology Tbk (MLPT) is boosting its cloud computing (cloud) business through its subsidiary, PT Visionet Data Internasional (VisioNet), by releasing the VidiaCloud service.

“It’s a cloud for all. We play in Infrastructure as Service if in the Cloud with this VidiaCloud,” said President Director of Multipolar Technology Wahyudi Chandra in Jakarta, Wednesday (31/1).

He explained, VidiCloud works on the public, private and hybrid cloud segments by positioning itself as a Trusted, Reliable & Excellence Cloud Service.

VidiaCloud provides a variety of solutions that can be dynamically tailored to customer needs such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Backup as a Service (BaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS).

VidiaCloud is the first cloud computing service in Indonesia, built using the Microsoft Azure Stack platform and running on the HPE Integrated Systems infrastructure, which is intended to help businesses transform and innovate and become more dynamic and agile.

To ensure service quality, VisioNet places VidiaCloud in the GTN Data Center Rated 3 ANSI/TIA-924-A which has Japanese service quality standards 3S (Safe, Stable and Sustainable) and SLA 99.982% with reference to the international Green Building standard, ISO 9001 Quality. Management System, ISO 27001 Information Security Management System, TVRA (Threat, Vulnerability & Risk Assessment) and PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), and has passed the data center audit from Bank Indonesia (referring to PBI No.9/15/PBI /2007) and the Financial Services Authority (POJK No.38/POJK.03/2016).

Through VidiaCloud, VisioNet provides an IT Shared Services business model that allows companies to meet their IT infrastructure needs based on opex (operating expense) in less than 7 days or even hours – depending on the complexity – starting from the most basic such as the need for compute resources ( core, memory, storage) virtually, to the most advanced, namely the fulfillment of application-based IT needs.

“We understand that there are still many business players who are not sure about using cloud computing. For this reason, we entrust the Microsoft Azure Stack solution with HPE Integrated Systems infrastructure for VidiaCloud so that it can eliminate all these risks,” explained President Director of Visionet Data Internasional (VisioNet) Paulinus Soegondo.

HPE Hybrid IT Director Michael Thiotrisno added that HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack enables enterprises to run Azure-based computing services in on-premises data centers, and users of these services will fully benefit from hybrid cloud computing with the same experience as operating the cloud in an Azure environment.

“Not all companies are willing to invest heavily in the incubation business. With the cloud – pay as you use approach, customers can subscribe to what is needed and pay only for what is used, so that the initial investment can be very low and the need for compute resources (core, memory, storage) can be increased quickly to respond to market needs. Customers can directly use cloud services without having to worry about managing hardware, network devices, security devices, interconnections and even managing cloud services themselves, so that customers can focus more on developing their main business and business growth going forward, “explained VisioNet Director Miko. Yanuar.

VisioNet collaborates with Multipolar Technology, PT Graha Teknologi Nusantara (GTN), PT Link Net Tbk (LINK) and PT Helios Informatika Nusantara (Helios) as strategic partners to offer this solution to the market.
